Martial Arts Essence offers Martial Artist of all styles inspiring Tee shirts that assist in keeping the Martial Arts spirit alive. A first glance at some of the decapitation shirts might suggest a morbid and quite gruesome reference, however it was this spirit of Bushido and the Mushin mind attained that made the Samurai such successful warriors. Martial Arts Essence will be producing different collectable and inspiring Tee shirts at the rate of one new shirt every four months. Shirts in the series include the following themes: Daruma (Bohidharma), Zen, Female warriors, Samurai & the 47 ronin, Eastern Philosophy, Karate, Kung Fu, specific Martial Arts styles, characters from Myth & folklore and words of wisdom.
Tee shirts in the coming months will be listed below, however the images will not be made public until 2 or 3 weeks before the scheduled date.

Most of Martial Arts Essence designs come from original Japanese woodblock prints from the 18th & 19th century. The images are meticulously extracted and edited from the woodblock prints. Martial Arts Essence has limited the number of shirts produced for each print to 1,000. After 1,000 shirts are sold for any print, they will not be made available again. However, the information will remain on the website for reference with a sold out status. Martial Arts Essence is concerned with the quality and detail of each shirt offered rather then quantity of shirt designs offered. Each shirt design may take many weeks of painstaking editing with attention to the original artist detail.
